also once you're done go to the linked-roles section again and do the same thing, discord shouldnt send you to the external website that time

thank you very much, i just found and fixed the problem. Your friend will now be able to get the role

The issue was caused by the Bot's Description being empty. So i just filled it with default text.
If you don't see this until tomorrow, sleep well
