Realistically if jotaro intended to kill anybody in part 3 aside from dio he would have done so, His punch alone was able to crush dio's skull so He was definitely holding back against everybody and in part 4 and 5 I guess he just got older and weaker cz during his barrage on kira he definitely was not holding back so it should have killed him, same during his 2nd fight against pucci in part 6
