Boiling water is cool, but it cools down and hurts your hand if you lift it.
Same with acid and base liquids, they would be cool but would harm you, don't gotta worry about it cooling down but they both get less effective when watered down.
Baking soda is cool too! Though bubbling may not be good enough for alot of encounters, could help hide things inside the water.
Citrus is probably the best option as it's always effective, only downside is it makes what it touches dehydrated
