My statement about Dio and Jotaro being overrated still stands and I have some reasons, one of which will be restated
1: if you aren’t a fan of JoJo’s but have seen stuff on it you would see Jotaro and Dio
2: Jotaro and Dio are the most recognizable out of the series
3: certain kids at my school know who Jotaro and Dio are without even having consumed anything JoJo’s related

I think it's moreso that because part 5 has so much wasted potential that everyone latched onto the characters since you could do whatever with them and it would be more interesting than the actual part.
