Pretty much all of part 5's main cast (besides Trish and Bruno). Amazing character designs sure, but story wise they all all lackluster as hell. Not only do they rehash the roles from part 3 but worse with less screentime (besides Mista lol) but they also have no arcs, no character growth besides the afformentioned Bruno and Trish, and two of them ||have copletely useless deaths in story||. It's why nearly all fan works characterize them better, because there's so wasted potential that literally anyone can make it better.

I like the idea of him running on borrowed time and everything else about him it just feels like he often hogs the protagonist spotlight away from Giorno and that sort of diminishes his role in the story for me since he's meant to be more of a mentor figure

    Good backstory, bland character. He's such a blank slate. Everyone else around him has a much more interesting personality, no, everyone else in the Joestar bloodline is more interesting when talking about personality.
  • Jotaro.
    Another person I think is overrated is Jotaro, as his character is mostly beloved by middle schoolers. I'm not surprised. He's also just a teenager in p3 and he continues being very similar to his younger self, still thinks everyone around him knows how he feels like, so he doesn't express his emotions more openly. I'm not saying he's a bad character, it's just (imo) he's really overrated ...
