nah because their stands were already awakened
what they were trying to stop was the ongoing distress call from jonathan's body that was actively forcing out every joestar's stands from their bodies
it was basically ordering every joestar "BRING OUT YOUR STAND BRING OUT YOUR STAND" , so for joseph and jotaro they had no problem with getting their stands pulled out because they had strong wills
but holly was unable to fulfill the request because she had no fighting spirit so she was dying from the command, her stand lashing out inside of her unable to come out under her control
once the distress call ended and her stand stopped being forced to come out, it went back inside of her in a dormant state once again
the awaken call simply awakened the stands so anyone who actually got to control their stands kept them even after the signal had ended but holly never got to control her stand in the first place so it just fell back inside her and stopped doing anything
kinda like: jonathan's signal was forcing every joestar to install stand.exe. joseph and jotaro had high spec PCs so they were able to install it and run it easily without issue. but holly's firmware was incompatible with the program so it was corrupting and crashing her system. so jotaro and joseph had to go to dio's house to explode dio's wifi router so it would stop sending her the program. once it stopped sending it to her the program stopped running without ever completing or installing anything so she was able to recover and function normally again.
