Funny Valentine is the best villain from the modern day philosophy perspective where literally everything you hear from the American government is some form of propaganda to convince us that they are like us. No matter how they try and relate philosophically you know that they are intrinsically different to the average American. And lots of people do agree with the propaganda he spews. I mean "if America takes all the resources then that means we'll have better lives" right? "Who cares what happens to the other countries when I'm in the winning country." "he says he's in sound mind and body which means he must be right! Right?".
The point of Funny is that he is intrinsically better than everyone because he is part of his country and that mindset isn't just the mindset of Americans but of nearly every country which has fallen for some form of propaganda. He is propaganda manifest of the American dream, of colonization, of only getting involved in foreign affairs to benefit ourselves leaving everyone else in the dust.
Subconsciously that is why everyone enjoys seeing him die pleading for his life... Just like every other country he was condemning to starvation and poverty for at least 45 years or quite possibly forever while cutting off the entrance to everyone. He is a villain we love to hate and a villain that real life evils can relate to.
TLDR: Amazing writing, Funny Valentine is the most evil villain cause he's a racist and a propaganda spreader that makes it easy to hate him making him a great villain with an amazing design.... and people still trust him like... If it's main villains, probably Yoshikage Kira, because his name is Yoshikage Kira and he's 33 years old. His house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and he is not married. I'm trying to explain that he's a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. He takes care not to trouble himself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause him to lose sleep at night. That is how he deals with society, and he knows that is what brings him happiness. Although, if he were to fight he wouldn't lose to anyone.
