first
The fights are probably the best thing
I love Johnny joestar
gay
the hot buff men
dab me up i came here for the same reason
Jonathan when I started then it became just an addition
i was bored and the anime was famous nd i was like ok lets watch it
@hazy marten, your Stand Rank is now 1!
Big gay men
The tw!nkified buff men after part 4
The fights initially
Then the err art style and the character designs drew me in further when I started reading the manga
100%
Definitely a series I'd get all my buddies into
the artstyle, the story, the fight, the opening, the character (heros and vilains), the waifu, the stand and their musical reference, the theme, the animation, that's what i like in JJBA
Tbh I was bored, and scrolling through Netflix, found it and said "why the hell not"
Also the idea of a series following one entire bloodline throughout a number of eras is just genius
But in the end, I'm just here for the men
@sharp robin, your Stand Rank is now 1!
My friend told me to watch it and said he would do something to me if I didn’t
So I watched it and i now love it
I ACTUALLY FOUND THE QOTD CHANNEL
@faint cape, your Stand Rank is now 1!
but anyway it was p4 jotaro
fruity
I like everything about JJBA, the simple start, the insane addition of stands, and the characters and designs. Just honestly quite a fire series 🗣️
Its so well written and theres so much content i just had to know everything lowkey
@ebon spade, your Stand Rank is now 3!
Nvm it's doppio
started watching it to pass time, became obsessed with the way all of the characters were written especially during Caesar's death the way their emotions brought me to tears i was just so engaged with how every story plays out also with the way stands were introduced into the story its just all BEAUTIFUL.
Uhh, Roblox drew me and my brother and even my dad to this series
My dad got so curious on Jojo
That he wants us to watch it
Me and my brother didn't regret it
Generally, the characters, their stories, and their designs.
But I also love JoJo for how unique it is - not just from Araki, but from the media surrounding it too. How many anime have 3D openings or villain interruptions?
It's uniqueness compared to other anime
Plus, the execution isn't always great, but the premises of JoJo stories have always been amazing, and that leaves space for so much potential
Pair that with Stands, and you have an insane force for fan fiction and further expansion
Not to mention each Part is relatively short, leaving much untapped potential and pretty good pacing compared to other series
gay
The whole concept of stands is really intriguing
i like the hot gay men getting into fights
no wonder SO fell off
I look forward to seeing where Part 9 goes, because a strength of JoJo's format is that Araki can explore the same universe with completely different stories and characters
My main criticism for JoJo is that cool in-universe concepts aren't always further explored in later Parts, because there's a lot of missed potential there. For example, Pillar Men were introduced in Part 2, but were never mentioned again for Parts 3-6. Vampires never made a reappearance post-Part 3 either, not to mention how little DIO used his vampiric abilities in SDC apart from sucking blood and re-attachiing limbs
Part 8 spoilers: ||I really love how JoJolion incorporated Spin for Go Beyond, as it shows that Araki saw further potential in the concept of Spin, and so the move that had the protagonist triumph was a further development of how the Part 7 protag (Johnny) defeated his opponent||
I don't expect Spin to be a major element in Part 9, but it'd be cool if it appears at some point at least
Finished Jujustu Kaisen, my friend is really into JJBA so when I asked for recommendations he obviously recommended JJBA, he even made me watch it from phantom blood to stardust crusaders (finished it today) in order.
Came for the music references.
Stayed for the well made story and characters
@sudden crown, your Stand Rank is now 4!
i watched part 2 8 times for one reason OILED UP MEN
Everything
The amazingly written story
The incredibly creative fight scenes
Story
As much as I hate to say it, Giorno's theme is what hooked me initially and I stayed because I love the characters
men
@lusty panther, your Stand Rank is now 2!
/ more seriously, the story is sooo interesting and the concepts are so original. The characters are also great
Me its the Story and the interesting caracthers
Sorry im French so my english Not super good
i like pretty much everything, all the characters are intresting and have their own personality and the stand fights are like no other anime fight ive seen before
the mind games
Instead of going “oh this guy beat that guy by punching harder”
it’s
”behold the radish I planted with my stand earlier (which doesn’t have a name or even a coherent ability yet this is ep 1) was not in fact a desperate attempt to trip you into the ravine but my secret plan to lure in the (insert weirdly specific dangerous animal that eats radishes which lives in nearby area)”
The small scenes of comedy
Interesting combat
The MEN
The juicy MEN
but actually, the story, the plot twists, the times where the stand randomly gains so much strength
the queerness, (gayness & oddities) the lack & abundance of it
also, the stands, i heard of them but wanted to witness them for myself
the power system
@gloomy garnet, your Stand Rank is now 1!
The memes
Two things made me watch JJBA one was when my two sisters tried it but stop it and the other one is when a girl showed how to play golden wind on a instrument
How araki makes he’s character
(I MEAN STORY AND STUFF!)
The very zany and wacky feeling of the series as well as the artstyle
Probably the best and most unique art style I've ever laid eyes on
Humor
Part 4's anime back in 2016-17
I don't remember exactly what it was but probably the story looked fun and/or the artstyle was enticing (Araki bless)
@night adder, your Stand Rank is now 7!
then I stayed for the jojokes
The style isn't like any other anime I've seen. I love it!
Giorno's theme
The power system is unique and interesting
The characters
I was peer pressured into watching it and I thought the style was neat
why do people hate the artstyle?!?! Ive tried drawing Arakis work MULTIPLE times, and I cant really get it right, BECAUSE ITS SO DETAILED, the cross hatching the shadow lines vanishing points its all perfect
hello
The art
kira.
The character designs
It happens all around the world, not just Japan‼️
@dark sandal, your Stand Rank is now 1!
Yay
Really cool poses and official art
everything
Hard to say. Since it's pretty much everything for me. The characters, the stories, the internations between them, Stands and how every body uses them differently, etc.
Most importantly the poses and designs, I just love JoJo
Honestly it was the music references, plus the first three episodes were just so mysterious and intriguing that it had me in a chokehold
Part 2. And the character designs. Plus the fighting as well, they are very interesting in my eyes.
My cousins introduced me and yay :3
My sister said it was great so we watched it in a loud bowling alley during my dad's league nights way back when. I thought the character design, gothic elements, and humor was just fascinating. Once part 2 started I thought the worldbuilding was also just so intriguing
The character designs and art :]
@nocturne flume, your Stand Rank is now 1!
I found it from memes and i thought “why the hell not watch it so i get the jokes?”
character (most of them)
@mellow osprey, your Stand Rank is now 1!
i accidentally stumbled upon it on netlix back in 2021, watched the first episode, realised its the 'to be continued' meme origin, never stopped since
now ime on that jojo brainrot
i finished up to golden wind within a month or so, then continued the manga
i skimmed through so and sbr both in a week because i wanted to read jojolion that bad😭
How the art portrays such weird abilities
Like, all the panels with left side ataxia looked so cool
@young lance, your Stand Rank is now 1!
I'd seen memes from Jojo, and then I watched this one video that talked about it's artsyle which made me curious enough to watch it
Literally everything, I got hooked by Part 1. The designs the poses the writing the art, everything
Also Bucciarati
I like the charecters and unique ability conceps
Curiosity drew me to do the series, but the unique art, unique story, and Araki is why I really like it, 🤍🙏
@wise rune, your Stand Rank is now 1!
that kakyoin licking a cherry scene
Standsss
@jade oriole, your Stand Rank is now 2!
The uniqueness of each different JoJo and main villain
@wintry dock, your Stand Rank is now 3!
Also the timeline and unique powers
the link of hirohiko to arts in general (which lead to having a manga with my favorite art style and references)
@unkempt hinge, your Stand Rank is now 1!
I really love Plot and Animation is just Craaaazyy
gay and hot people
I like the thing that JoJo normalises the most weird and crazy things
dude the torture dance
I wanted to learn it even before I started jojos but then I just encountered it on netflix so I thought it’ll be fine ig if I’ll try watching jojos
plot, power system and ost
its what makes an anime attractive
the character designs were pretty good too.
jjba video game
it’s gotta be the musical references and of course the osts and i just love the art style. also arakis character design and his creativity with stands and characters is just amazing
@jovial scaffold, your Stand Rank is now 1!
i would yap more about it but that would be stupid
i love that so much
everyone has such different experiences with this question
my friend (ty king adrian)
Its an unsettling and entertaining anime
How weirdly creative everything is, I don't know what Araki was on but there have been so many inspirations for art that I make that came from the series.
@chilly river, your Stand Rank is now 1!
tbh the memes
memes and musicial refs
i have a bit of a story for mine
so basically, i used to play a universal time, right? (on roblox)
and my friend is like
"yo, have you heard of jojo's bizarre adventure"
now i didn't know what the fuck a jojo's bizarre adventure was back then
but after a few weeks, i looked at some videos online
and learned about dio
and he was my favourite character and the only character i knew
and after i few days, i started watching it because i thought dio's timestop was cool
not the newgen aut, i meant the really old one
prime aut
The buff men in it.
Is simple
Is because of the memes
Silly and fun
artstyle
the “To Be Continued” meme
The designs of the characters and their clothes
All and the style
Same
Its format of being split into separate parts
For me it inspired me a lot for my art style i still look at them sometimes
I use to copy and draw some of the panels back in early start 2018
fashion, characters, and memes
My friend told me to
