Gosh, this is tough-! I think it's between Armin Arlert and Basil from Omori. Both of them are anxious characters that I relate to a bunch, and they both comfort me a lot in that essence because I really understand them as a result of my terrible anxiety alongside other things, such as seeing myself poorly and whatnot

For protagonist Kiana from Honkai Impact because she’s very multi dimensional as a character and goes through many trials and still is really cool. For a Neutral/ supporting character Detective Shibazaki from Terror in Resonance because of how intelligent he is, while still being righteous and juggling with trying to find the terrorists and not pissing off the U.S. govt even though they had no right with their intervention of the situation. He realized the kids were actually good in intentions and did his best to protect them while not being naive. He also is very important for the ending to hit as hard as it did because without him the plot couldn’t come full circle (people who watch the show will understand what I mean, I’m trying to allude without spoilers). For antagonist Nox from Wakfu because he’s a badass but has a very unique analytically hyperactive personality yet weirdly knows the entire time that what he was doing was immoral which is weird for a villain yet in hindsight explains so many things about his character. Sorry for the essay.

Potentially Samus Aran. She's just pretty badass, has a cool as heck powersuit & I like imagining the speedruns are canon just to be humored by just how dast and efficient she is lol
Outside of that I have waaaaay too many characters I like and too many favourites. I can't really make a coherent list because they're all neat in their own way.
Sometimes I like the design, other times the personality. I'll Definitely know I like a character if I get giddy everytime they're on screen lol
