Could have been done better given any other character, hell, THROW IN AN ACTUAL JOESTAR TO GO THERE. LIKE JOTARO OR JOSUKE. NOT SHIGECHI. HE HAD NO POINT BEING THERE

I liked DIU, but it felt so terrible for alot of its screentime. You could skip like 7 episodes of the entire season, just because they're purely filler.

Wayy to many stands that were weak and uninteresting. I'd rather we just follow the story than watch an episode about a guy who can cook really good food or an episode where that rapunzle girl crushes over Koichi, or the doll guy.

Remove the chef, doll guy, the power tower guy, and the weird ass stand where u cant look at peoples backs, and you miss nothing. Each person has an episode over just that one stand.

||I feel as though part 8 had the reverse issue of part 4 for me. While p4 Josuke felt overshadowed by his supporting cast (especially Koichi). I feel as though Gappy, Yasuho and Rai didn't spend enough time with the rest of part 8's great supporting cast for me to feel super attached to the rest of the cast. Like we literally had 1 chapter of haato and Josuke really interacting. At least Jobin and Joshu had arcs with Josuke that made them feel like present forces. In addition to this, I feel as though the only character's with any agency is the trio of gappy Yasuho and Rai, the rest of the higashikata's can feel like they're just standing there waiting for Gappy to show up. Regardless of all of that I still love part 8 and it's supporting cast, I just wish we got to have more time with them before WOU.||
