I feel worried saying this, because people might get mad, but part 3 is my least favorite. It felt very outstretched, I didn't feel very attached to the characters, and I felt that Jotaro was better as the role he was in part 4 and 6 then 3

Idk really, all the parts are pretty above average in my eyes. If I had to chooseā€¦ probably 3 or 5: 3 because the pacing is really slow, and most of the fights arenā€™t exactly memorable ā€”outside of Nā€™doul, Vanilla Ice, and the final DIO fightā€” in my mind, also Annie. Then Part 5, since Giornoā€™s character is pretty meh/boring on the surface, conceptually itā€™s good and you can see what Araki was going for, also I wish Diavolo had more of an imposing presence from the shadows; drop him in the background, lurking on the team, manipulating some of the fights as they go on, or just more of him wouldā€™ve been nice I guess.

I haven't gotten myself to read Parts 7/8 yet
But as of now, it's Part 1. I like all the Parts in their own right
But if we have to choose one, it's 1 for me. Mostly because of its length, how you don't really get attached to anyone but Jonathan because the rest of the characters don't do much or are present for such a short time. If the supporting cast got more to do that'd be great
But yeah, it's not a bad Part. It establishes Jonathan,the Joestar legacy and Dio. Gives base to the following Parts
As a lone story it wouldn't stand out to me personally all that much, but it does its job

rewatching part 1 made me feel it aint that bad as i thought, regardless every part slaps for me even for some pacing issues with certain parts, some things or the othet covered it up for me

i think each part has a great story and their own charm to it, and i don't necessarily dislike any part

but i'm not a big fan of part 3, simply because the pacing was weird and they just kinda fight stands because they have to, the character development is kind of lacking
but i just wish it wasn't so long, still a good part in a lot of ways though

4 was actually not bad in my opinion, but there were parts where I felt like there was way too much filler going on (Italian cuisine ftw though)

No necessarily bad but it missed were the rest of the parts hit
Some scenes were great but sometimes it felt like it dragged on as most side villains were pretty forgettable
My biggest complaint would definetly be the characters and their wasted potential

And Kakyoin and Avdol were both huge missed opportunities
And since Jotaro wasnt that exciting a protag in a way we were reliant on the side characters and the only really good one to follow was Polnareff (who actually knocked it out the park imo)

it gives to the evolution of the series as a whole and really gives (again) a full experience of Araki's work

I watched 10 episodes of stone ocean before watching phantom blood and it still hits close to home as being on of my favorite parts (again, this is an opinion, i'm not saying you're wrong in any way for disliking it)

  1. Part 6 mostly carried by jolyne and pucci, but they're both in my top 3 jojo characters. Jolyne being my number 1 and Pucci being my third as well as my fav villain in the whole series, I do like the side characters in this part as well but jolyne and pucci were easily the best things about the part. oh and this part has my fav stand stone free, really cool design and ability thats unique compared to alot of the other jojos and is a lot of fun with some cool creative uses.

Part 4 because I think Josuke doesn't shine as much and hasn't got as many cool moments as the other jojos (except Jonathan but that bc of part 1s length) Koichi is probably my favourite part of DUI as well as kira being a top tier villain although okuyasu is a bit lackluster since he barely has any fights or moments that other jobros such as bucciarati have a lot of, plus I think the minor antagonists are good but are outshined by the later parts minor antagonists, although I still think that part 4 is greato I kinda just think that the other parts have a lot more strengths (doesn't help that jotaro had that killsteal on kira)

While Part 3 is not my least favourite part, it is my second least favourite part (Part 1 is my least fave but it's pretty evident why people consider it to be their least favourite)

Part 3 is where stands first appeared yet here they feel more like glorified superpowers and are definitely the least creative stands we've ever got power wise

They're pretty basic and while I do feel like stands do kinda need to be pretty basic because they're just introduced, I still feel like Araki could've gotten a little bit more wilder in the latter half of part 3 to really show off the potential this concept has

I don't dislike Part 3 and it has some pretty damn hype and coop moments but the simple stands just make it my (second) least favourite

Some side villains were great but I don't really remember them, they just annoy me for their episode. Love it though, love it all.
