A lot of gantz's action and movement look super stiff in the manga, which I theorize is that the authour pretty much is drawing from reference and/or tracing poses

I don't know what style he uses though so this is pure theory, but he does use 3dcg imagery a lot while working on the manga, so it probably comes from that
