thoughts on Oshimi Shuzo's Aku No Hana(Flowers of Evil):
one of the best manga titles i've read in a very very long while. I had read Onani Master Kurosawa before and i've heard it's somewhat similar to Aku No Hana but wow, there's only like, 2 or 3 things they share in common. The character development in Aku No Hana is phenomenal though i would say it's a bit lacking for the Main Character. Although this story involves multiple major characters, they aren't well developed in favour of the main two characters, and even then only one of the main characters was given the deepest of dives. Overall though, this manga will definitely scoot it's way into my top 10 even though i hate the themes present in the early parts of it.

rating: 69/72

side note: i love the character development in Onani Master Kurosawa a lot more, if you're open-minded about the depiction of some explicit themes and images, this is worth a read for the character development

thoughts on Hiro Chihiro's Shunkan Gradation:
your typical high-school romance story published in a shoujo magazine. a cold glasses-guy and an upbeat girl that tries her best. probably one of the mangas i would recommend as a primer for the the shoujo demographic under high-school romance.

thoughts on Nemu Youko's The Delinquent Housewife:
now this is the cream of the crop of the recently plowed mangas i've gone through. I expected nothing less from Nemu Youko and she delivered wonderfully with her very distinct writing and art style. If you think this is anything like Gokushufudou based on the title, you're in for a treat of something way way different. Though i would have my own gripes with this, such as to the characters this manga takes it's focus on but it's just the usual Nemu style.

All Might's judgement was totally accurate and he used enough valid reasoning to make his decision

y’all are forgetting that deku had to literally almost die while trying to save bakugo (trying, not even managing to successfully save him) for all might to change his mind and give deku his quirk. an average middle schooler wouldn’t really run to a villain who’s attacking another civilian, while not having any power that could give him any advantage. not even the adults who were watching the scene did that or showed any intention of doing so, they were just watching. all might didn’t give him his powers “just because”, he watched deku, a quirkless kid, almost sacrifice himself for another person, while he, an actual hero, was frozen in place. he felt inspired by deku and thought he had the true spirit of a hero. i do think it was rushed, and it should have been explained/developed properly maybe, but it makes sense and deku didn’t get his powers “just because”.
