Im really loving monster, but one of my biggest gripes with it is the way it deals with characters, ||you can pretty much tell the entire purpose of a new character within a few pages of them being introduced, depending on how tragic their story is its whether or not they're gonna die or affect tenma in some way|| I love it but its still obvious at points

like right now where I'm at ||the recovering alcoholic detective thats investigating the rich guys 2 sons (im bad with names so forgive me), it was so fucking obvious he was gonna die from the moment they started making his life better, I just wish things would get mixed up a bit atleast once||
