I kinda wanna to explain my "One Piece is too long to be enjoyable" argument, I assume most people who start One Piece chose that because they want to read/watch it to start to finish. But for me personally, when a show is too long, I usually don't bother touching it as I prefer shorter stories. But for constant months now, my friend constantly asked me if I was interested in the One Piece anime. And me, who has a slight problem of not knowing when to drop a show if its not enjoyable anymore, said no. But the constant push from my friend and the fact my girlfriend started One Piece saying its one of the best shows ever, I decide to watch it hesitantly. When I watched the first couple of episodes, I told my friend I wasn't enjoying it and asked him when to drop it if need be. However my friend told me to finish the 90+ episode season to form opinions on it (he really loves the anime.) So I asked people around when a good place to drop it if I chose to drop it and everyone gave me completely different point ranging from 8 to 100 episodes. So that's what I mean by that, the length of One Piece + my inability of knowing when to stop watching something = not liking One Piece length.

I hear the manga is better but both my friend and gf love the anime to death so I kinda feel like im obligated to watch it

Ok. Let's use a repeated formula. Battle ||Upper-moon|| demon. See their flashback of their backstory. ||Kill them||. Move onto next ||upper moon|| demon. Rinse and repeat. Felt very rushed with the final confrontation between Tanjirou and Muzan battle.

Manga would've been better if they had a longer break/breathing room in between these ||upper moon battles|| to give more character development to the pillars and demon slayers. Do like a couple side quests before facing the boss why don't cha? ||Upper moon|| demons have more character development than all of KNY.

@runic vigil Here is Archer's origin story. As you know, Archer is not a true heroic spirit. He is another version of Shirou Emiya from a alternative timeline of Fate/Stay Night world. Shirou made a contract with Alaya in order to become the heroic spirit EMIYAH. He acts as a "counter-guardian" as a payment for the contract.

The Shirou Emiya from the alternative timeline follows the same path as the UBW Emiya. After the Grail war, he followed Rin to London and worked as a freelance mage. He trained but his abilites were not good enough to save mankind.

A natural disaster occurred and threated to wipe out 100 people. During this time, he formed the contract with Alaya. He obtains the power to save mankind and perform miracles as a heroic spirit after his death. So he thought. Shirou was betrayed and eventually executed by his allies. In death, counter-guardian Shirou starts saving people. But the way he did it opposes his ideals of saving everyone. He had to kill many people that poses as a threat to humanity. Overtime, counter-guardian Shirou was hating it. He realizes that he cannot save everyone. So he frees himself from Alaya's contract. He made the opportunity to be summoned as a servant during the 5th Holy Grail war. This was in order to erase his existence as a counter-guardian. And so marks Archer.

Korra didn’t gain her powers as quickly as aang. Aang learned everything at 12 years old while Korra took more years to learn 3 elements. TLOK is not as great but nonetheless it’s still a good show. Maybe it’s not ATLA but it’s it’s own show

She learnt water earth and firebending at the age of 4. While it took aang to master airbending at the age of 12. He was deemed a prodigy. While the other 3 took months

I understand it took longer for korrs to learn air. But still

It felt like she didnt rly learn it and it just poof. Came. I wish || she actually lost her bending and got it back throughout the show while getting the spiritual side of it all ||
