Well fictional worlds like Cybertron in Transformers or Geonosis in Star Wars are often based on human experiences, whether it be the technology we surround ourselves with, the connection we have with nature (like Pandora in Avatar), or an ideological or artistic movement. Science fiction/fantasy works as an enhanced mode of regular fantasy fiction in the way it uses advanced worlds and beings. So I think it’s perfectly fine to mirror “human” world concepts to a more “machined” world. It’s how people now who are just seeing Transformers One and connect it politically to y’know what because it has that universal parallel of anti-fascism and anti-misinformation. Art, regardless, of what it is, is a gateway to the human condition.

very much so riding on its tropes rather than splitting entirely like Ichi the Witch. It's got a good energy to the first two chapters and the kind of hook that can go literally anywhere (this boy is super weak but his special magic is special :0 ). Gonna have to see where the plot actually progresses but this series actually has some legs to stand on atleast
