PLUR1BUS SEASON ONE FINAL THIRD “The Gap”, “Charm Offensive”, & “La Chica o El Mundo”:

The arc that is defined as doomed yuri and man-made horrors beyond our comprehension. Everyone’s acting chops showed this final third too, man… I have zero complaints, even with the cliffhanger ending because even it was well executed. The strongest part of this third was definitely the dynamic between Manousos and Carol, parallels and foils and all. Peak fiction with an interesting “origin” story to boot.

Overall season thoughts, I can’t really find any flaws although I have to give Vince credit for making a sci fi series without actually showing the “alien”threat, via cgi or practical suits.

Almost all of them have some connection to sexual abuse or they genuinely are only meant to exist for sex

I get Johnny is not exactly a gentlemen so his engagement with women makes sense to boil down to that but even women characters he doesnt have a purely casual sex connection with or 0 connection with get treated this way

that's all part of it though, like the normal identifiable themes and the items that would track with a regular plot line end up feeling like second thoughts or distractions because you have what looks like regular pacing all being digested through the point of view of someone who's likely schizophrenic at best
