Auto Hunting With My Clones beat at 176 chapters. Great Manhwa with a surprisingly fantastic ending. What I really liked about it is the sense of humor early on, and continued to persist as the story went on as the more serious aspects of the story got better.

As far as the story goes, You know the setup and the title pretty much tells you what to expect haha. Solo Leveling except the dude has clone abilities. It REALLY nailed the flashback sequences and got me emotional especially the last one. When the final arc came around and I saw what the inherent dilemma and conflict was about I was worried it was gonna be unsatisfying… but surprisingly ||It’s the best outcome I can think of and my heart is just full after reading that haha.||

Shout out to best character mah boi George Lucas (no relation).

Highly recommended SL clone that’s better than the original. If you want a power trip Manhwa, I point you to this.

Okay so I watched the movie finishing up the series a few days ago

like 2 or 3

And damn like it's so solid

The entire series I'm so glad I decided to watch it

The directing felt so unique compared to other shows

Nagato's character and relationship with Kyon through the whole series

Kyon and Haruhi's ||somewhat subtle romance, with the callbacks to the ponytail thing for example||

The animating team's decision to make the endless 8 despite the arc being one loop long in the novel

I don't like movies generally I've said this many times here but The Disappearance, with its 3 hour run time was so satisfying anyway

And even finding out that this anime was the source of your nickname was awesome

I liked that The Disappearance also created this cold mood. ||The movie took place in Winter, the scenery was always pretty much clouded, with no sun and there was a lot of silence. Both in terms of no soundtrack playing in the background during many scenes and silence in dialogues, so to speak. Haruhi wasn't here with her bubbly personality. Mikuru and Koizumi were away too, they couldn't banter with Kyon. And Nagato was silent, but not because she was stoic and emotionless like in the regualr world but because she was shy and timid this time. She sat around in the club rooms nervously looking at Kyon, who didn't really start any conversations. It was silence... maybe not defeaning silence but but but I'm lacking in words to describe this||

Okay so I dont get the ||Kyon dying part though. Like what happened there. Who's the other Kyon and Mikuru that came as Kyon #1 was bleeding out. Theyre not the ones who were sleeping at Nagato's apartment cause they already woke up earlier in another arc, right? Or am I just confusing the timeline|| @hard nimbus

No you're right it's not ||Apartment Kyon/Asahina, but Movie Kyon does offhandedly addresses this in the movie, sometime in the future, him and Adult Asahina go back in time to save Movie Kyon from dying, so all events are played out, just not this one that's not animated yet||

But it does highlight that what the viewer is watching is wrong - This world is not what we should be seeing. This dead literature club room should be the SOS brigade's club room. I am not meant to see this side of the mirror||

||Lowkey I kinda dont like that Yuki's an alien. I'm fine with Mikuru being from the future and Koizumi being an esper. I don't want Yuki to be this omnipotent being. She describes this world reset/change as just a bug in the way she acts - that with time she started acting up. And yes, she did. After 200 years of the Endless Eight, seeing the same events over and over again - and most important of all - seeing Kyon be concerned for her over and over again, be that after the meetup in the restaurant or at the festival where he wants to pay for her mask - something does change. Cause we don't ever really see other interact with Yuki that much, it's always just Kyon.
Maybe it's denial on her part - that it's just a bug or something. But I like to think that these feelings are genuine||
