I know it’s supposed to get way darker or whatever but personally I find punpun’s life emotionally devastating in how he’s a spectator in his own life. He’s a spectator with opinions and aspirations, though. He has dreams, but nothing he does ever has any meaning because he’s a kid. Even when he does do something for himself, it was ended by adult matters. He’s just a kid. A kid surrounded by people with problems that become his.
