1 month after jjk's anime ended the sales nearly plateau'd which isn't bad, but kny's manga really was just soaring regardless

this is also a different comparison, showing kny never going over to the other side of the bell curve up to it's end

and with the anime still ongoing, it's still only going to be rising, while jjk's you cna more or less determine which volumes ran without an anime or big thing happening

it's half true that it became massively popular due to the anime, but only saying that neglects that it can sustain itself between anime seasons/films

@untold light would you happen to know what happened in May+ 2020? looking at the graphics now, jjk definitely got a bigger boost during it's anime run and kny's was more steady, but it only skyrocketed 8 months after it's anime ended

which would have ended in september 2019, and something happened in may(or onwards) the following year for the massive boost

Konosuba Legend of the Crimson movie beat. As much as I dislike adapting part of the series as a movie, it’s as hilarious as the rest series. Konosuba Season 3. Honestly might be my favorite season so far haha, especially since my second favorite girl Lalatina got major spotlight haha. I think my favorite gags of the season involved ||the opening (definitely my favorite of the 3) and endings, with a yell of “are you calling me that?” followed by a hard cut to the opening song immediately saying Yes and the cast yelling “I’m Sorry!” For as long as their breath allowed well into the ending LMAO!||

Absolutely phenomenally directed and visually stimulating coming of age tale by Shingo Natsume. A highly metaphoric twist on the classic interlude between middle school and high-school for adolescents, figuring out the future, their role in the world, and the person they are. The use of imagery and overlay is Natsume reaching for heights rarely seen in the medium when it comes to storytelling. His previous experience with Space Dandy, One Punch Man, and Night Is Short, Walk On Girl lends itself well into the anime as the characters feel still and static(as in they are unchanging), but are as active and full of life beyond themselves. To remain static in a world just for you or to move forward in a world of everyone else, growing up is as tall of an order. Highly anticipating his next work [ghost] and to which levels he'll push the medium forward.

rated 90+- because it can go higher or lower depending how i feel about that ending, on one hand it's the intended message for the whole anime and acceptance is the play, on the other hand it feels like a massive kick to the balls
