Caught up with Eleceed at 368 chapters. This Manhwa… has quite a few problems. It’s got your standard solo leveling fight scene choreography, if you like that you’ll like this. If you don’t, well tough. Then there’s the very repetitive plot beats of the mentor coming in to save the day, that especially plagued the 100-200 chapters.
But I love it all the same. And why? The characters. I love how the author portrayed the characters, with the secret being make each of them a dumbass in their own way. The author is really good at making you feel for them as you watch the kid bonds with and befriends people… and laugh at all their antics which makes you attached to them more.
TLDR plot: Korean Garfield trains a budding Korean The Flash to become the strongest one of all.
Alright alright, the real plot: a very nice guy who is basically Superman in personality (done right) secretly hides his superpower of super speed. One day, he saves a VERY fat cat (with a very similar orange coat like Garfield heh), who reveals himself to be a transformed superpowers person, the strongest there is. He mentors the kid, and so starts a hilarious series as the kid rises up in ranks and power.
Would I recommend it? If you want laughs, for sure. It’s a lot more entertaining than Solo Leveling I can tell you that much, with much more memorable characters.

The Venture Bros. Season 4 beat. I swear Venture Bros. just gets better and better lol! So many fantastic lines and story beats. Shore Leave is probably my favorite side character now, I love him. Venture Bros. Season 6 beat, with the season 7 opener trilogy. Oh my GOD the Red Death LMAO! Such a show stealer. Outside of the Gargantua 2 special, I really loved the episode where everyone was the narrator and ||Dr. Mrs. The Monarch shot Rusty.|| Really loved how they told that one. But oh man the trilogy holy CRAP! Well beers know the truth of course, but I have my own theories of how the Movie Night Massacre went down. ||IT HAS TO BE BUD MANSTRONG! The repressed child was traumatized by seeing two superheroes tapes doing the deed that he went nuts and accidentally opened the bay doors killing almost everyone. Oh and the Monarch’s dad/Blue Morpho/Venturion/Vendada + Problem reveal was CRAZY!||

Season 7 of Venture Bros. Beat. Amazing, amazing series, one of my all time favorite TV Shows. For the uninitiated. It’s a parody of the old Johnny Quest TV series, where a genius super scientist, his two rather dimwitted sons, and their ridiculously powerful bodyguard have adventures all over the globe, then it just snowballs from there and starts including superheroes and villains. Tight as HELL writing for a continuous story with amazing lines and jokes. LMAO THE TREATY EPISODE! Quite a lot of wham moments for a final season. I’m gonna miss these guys. Anyway some choice lines:

The Venture Bros. Movie: The Radiant Blood of the Baboon Heart beat. Thank you kind Samaritan who directed me to where I can watch this haha. It definitely feels like a super long episode/special heh, I could see them cramming a season’s worth of episodes and taking the most important bits and making it into a coherent movie. And the movie was AWESOME! If you know me, you know what my favorite part of the movie was: || VENTRICON SAVING THE GODDAMN DAY (with OSI help)||. Oh also the title of the movie hah. Did NOT expect that.
With this, the Venture Bros. sag at last comes to an end. There’s still a few mysteries left but the biggest one has been answered ||I thought Rusty was lying since Debbie CLEARLY didn’t love anyone but herself but the stinger after the credits warmed my heart||, my hunch was RIGHT ||Rusty and Monarch being clones||, and the movie ended where we know the cast will continue as they always have: the troublemakers making bad decisions that we find entertaining. Farewell Team Venture, thanks for all the laughs, twists, and adventure.
