Made the mistake of checking out this one Manhua that is basically self indulgent power trip Naruto fan fiction/ripoff lol. Too deep to drop it and it didn’t make me angry yet.

But Putting that aside to check out the Absolute Universe DC comic titles, and so far I’m loving it. Much like the Marvel Ultimate Universe, it’s the story of familiar heroes set in a new universe set in current times. The caveat, however, is that core aspects of their background is changed so they lack certain advantages, like Batman’s ||money||, Wonder Woman’s ||Paradise Island||, and Superman’s ||human parents||. It’s an interesting and fun take, and since the universe just began you don’t need to read anything else and can immediately jump in to any of the titles. So far Absolute Batman has been stellar, and can’t wait to dive into the rest of the titles.
