I understand that several movies of the same format were made afterwards and it's a very popular anime movie which leads to snobbism

It wasn't a "bad" movie by any mean since it's pretty well made and emotional resonant, it's just the fact that Shinkai has been telling the same romance story for a long time and it worked pretty well before because of its grounded, slice-of-life aspects of them and from Your Name afterward he made a full switch to telling supernatural stories which might or might not work just as well because in their cores it's just the same romance stories he has always been telling but with less realism involved

You could call it a nitpick or a genuine criticism depends on how attached you are to his works

K-Pop Demon Hunters Spoiler Analysis and Review:

Straight up made me a fan of k-pop. That’s a generational feat in my books. I thank EJAE, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami, TWICE (Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung), Andrew Choi, NECKWAV, Kevin Woo, SamUIL Lee, and Danny Chung for that. Regardless, I found the girls of HUNTR/X and their music to carry this film through its, admittedly, basic plot with endearment and fun amidst the battle with Jinu and Saja Boys co. Interestingly, Jinu surprised me with how much I liked and disliked him throughout the story, perfect for a complicated man as himself. For a fictional and idealized representation of the k-pop world with a few bits of criticism, Sony Pictures Animation animates yet another banger spearheaded by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. But alas, HUNTR/X DON’T MISS!

My observations from this are
My fav songs were Free, Your Idol and Golden, our tastes differ a little bit(i also hated soda pop), I don't think Mira is mixed in the sense that she's masculine, i didn't really see that in her, she's however mixed in the sense that she's more rudimentary, more rough which is a big contrast from her disciplined focused rich family.

side tangent, idk how viz managed to fuck up demon slayer's tl so bad, like wow thanks viz for making the most accessible version of demon slayer's manga dogshit to read
