All those James Gunn hashtags are true. He made a generational Superman film, and honestly speaking, my favorite Superman film ever. I am speechless (lol look at my 1,700+ words) at how great it was. Some minor nitpicks here and there but overall a great companion piece to Matt Reeves and Mattson Tomlin’s The Batman in making a definitive live-action version of the character. Like a comic book and animated episode perfectly adapted. Super performances and super writing. Please look up, as the DCU starts strong! Oh yeah, it’s political and woke af lmfao :3.
