Bet, the Netflix English live action adaptation of Kakegurui (and I use the term loosely) season 1 beat at 10 episodes. TLDR it sucks.

If you’re looking for a good, even passable adaptation of the original manga, this ain’t it. Imagine a Kakegurui fan fiction with Hogwarts as the setting, to the tune of those darker Archie adaptation Riverdale by CW and you get this mess. They also replaced almost all of the bets. Move on to the anime or the previous Japanese live action, which both I can vouch for to be good. Not counting the anime only gambles which suck hard but that’s beyond the scope of this rant.

Judges based on its own merits… it also sucks. I will say I liked the actress playing not Yumeko here, but everyone else’s acting is meh to ok. They dumped their budget on the soundtrack. Ending the series on a Japanese rickroll was a choice. And a random ass wrestler guest star who beat the crap out of the OC joining the main cast (that moment I enjoyed admittedly). But oh my god the original story is so damn stupid. I laughed outloud at the reason for Yumeko’s motivation ||THIS WAS ALL ABOUT BITCOIN BEING THE CURRENCY FOR THE MASSES WHAT?||.

Anyway yeah cannot recommend this to anyone I like. Avoid.
