I've started reading Chiyahafuru (name might be misspelled, it's hard to write). I'm just 3 volumes in, but the author has already managed to write an engaging story. It's a sports manga about a sport based on Japanese poems, so something I will never truly comprehend, but despite that there already has been a 'fight' scene which had me glued to my screen. The chapters are long too, with lots of dialogue, also something I appreciate. I hope this story turns out to be something great

MHA Season 5 beat. This was where I stopped reading the manga so all of this is new to me. I’m so torn lol, this season features some of the best and some of the worst MHA has to offer. The first half had my second favorite opening, and had a fantastic interclass battle where I rooted for everyone and had no idea how it was gonna play out. For the last match ||I feared it was gonna get called off but nah after the freak out the match continued aww yeah.||. That arc brought what I loved about this series. The second half… the internship was fine, and we get some build up to a new enemy, then comes… my villain academia. Meh. It’s villains vs villains, that’s usually one of the more awesome moments in western comics as both sides willing to kill destroy each other. ||But no it soon became clear that the MLA was just there to give the LoV some needed power ups and an actual army to be a real threat to the world.|| Hopefully now that that’s done it’s used well in upcoming seasons.

Shout out to special guest start Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz who bulked up for his role.

I also watched the third Movie, World Heroes’ Mission. I don’t know how they do it, but I love each movie more than the previous one, and I loved the first one already haha. The threat level is higher than before and yet they still kept the spotlight intimate, resulting in a fun action thriller that isn’t just a beat down all the time. Not that the beat downs are bad haha, had some of my favorite combat of the series. Oh and the Big Bad was voiced by OP’s Zoro’s VA and he’s great. Some details made me scratch my head ||for a guy aiming to kill alll Quirk users he sure has a lot of them on his side|| but doesn’t detract from the experience. The sidekick this movie is very Aladdin like, I like him.
