@storm edge AoT Ending ||I didn't like the ending because I thought Eren was acting unlike himself, allowing there to be a possibility of his friends and his country being wiped out by leaving 20% of humanity alive. Which in the end did happen (o his country), though much later on. Alas, I was able to come to terms with the ending. But what I will ALWAYS hate is that extra chapter Isayama included. That little chapter where it insinuated the little boy walking into the big tree would become The Founder just like Ymir. I HATE that. It makes everything in the story seem so pointless, so utterly insignificant. Ending aside, there were a number of plot holes and grievances I just didn't enjoy. One of them is Eren being the root cause of his mother's death, which just made no sense whatsoever.

If I'm being honest, the show got too complicated and hard to write. I'm not the biggest hater of the ending because I don't understand every supposed plot hole people were raving about. That, and that I truthfully don't know how it should've ended. There was no one clear way, as much as any outraged fan would've insisted back then. All I know is that I just didn't enjoy the last arc like I enjoyed everything that came before it.||

||oh, i see your argument, no, eren was not "not acting" like himself, he never changed from the beginning. it was always the eren we knew since s1, except as you know he tried to push away his friends, put on a facade that hes all tough, the evidence for this is how he cried about mikasa, the viewer might think this is pathetic, but its the same emotional eren as ever. on another hand, the last chapter wont be like how ymir's story happened. ymir was being chased, hunted down, but this boy was just walking all casually. it wont exactly be a repeating cycle for this matter. eren making his mother die wasnt something he liked, neither did killing people in the very end. he only did all of that so the future will go unchanged, and its inevitable, and him doing the rumbling is also inevitable. his mother's death was a key point to doing this obviously, and as you have seen eren actually was very regretful about doing the whole rumbling thing, but he cant do anything about it because the future cant be changed as i said, so he must do anything to keep it that way. im glad to hear your thoughts about this, and of course, you are right, theres no other way to end this show. in my honest opinion, the only small issue i had is isayama making eren and mikasa have some sort of relationship, which is quite weird.|| aot

AoT Ending ||My issue wasn't that his tough dog act was an act or his crying, I understand that. My issue is in his action of leaving 20% of the world alive despite him having always firmly resolute on not leaving it to chance. I also still believe that Eren causing his mother's death was dumb and that it meant his anger that pushed him to join the Survey Corps was actually supposed to be directed at himself, not Marley. And that they never made him the monster that would destroy them, but rather Paths shenaningans did. Mikasa's 'relationship,' I can get behind, because it's been shown the whole show. I felt sad when ranger said he didn't watch One Piece. My first thought was of the great adventure that it is, and how he's missing out. But right as I went to recommend it, I remembered something. Something in One Piece happened a bit later on from where you left off, and ever since that thing happened, the show hasn't been the same. Not only is it continuing into newer arcs badly, it's also put a damper on the whole show to the point I can't even recommend it.

And i loved the sabaody archipelago arc because it perfectly set up the opression and discrimination fishmen face and how awful it can be. As seen through the trafficking and slavery many are put through and how their kind is specifically targeted.|| So while overall i dislike the arc for its content, i really love the topic and how it handled it. I think one piece does really well with that kind of thing even if the arc its most well displayed in is a bit of a stinker

I love one piece tho, i dont think anything they introduce could “ruin” it. Maybe itll make the new arcs less fun or more boring for me. But what ive watched so far had already been one of my absolutely favorite pieces of media ive ever seen. Im not sure ive been more into a piece of than one piece from alabasta saga through summit war saga (including sky island but excluding thriller bark).
Almost every bit of those arcs i absolutely adored. My favorite has to be either water 7 or summit war. Nothing has made me cry like those two sagas. Though ive genuinely cried at almost every single arc in one piece and im not even joking 😭

Water 7 is my favorite saga and it's one of the greatest pieces of fiction I've ever seen for Pre-Alabasta to Marineford, and even onwards upto Gear 5 (excluding some arcs like FMI or Punk Hazard). But even then, it's been muddied by what came after it, as evident by how I couldn't recommend it to ranger. So.. yeah! Yeah, i definitely think so! Im super into science but when it comes to getting things done im just not that kinda person. I could never handle the stress or workload that comes with working in stem. Im perfectly happy being passionate about science from afar. Even though it would be so cool to work in the field, i just dont think it suits me. I came to the same conclusion when it comes to programming, its just better as a hobby for me.

In junior year i made a bunch of unit converters for fun and it really helped me learn some of my biggest flaws in coding. which was just being way to redundant. I would literally just copy paste the formula in each time and it would take up so much space and be unoptimized so the next time i tried it i used a variable i could just switch out for each conversion (kinda i cant fully remember what i did) and for the most part it really helped with shortening my code and making it much less a string of spaghetti

I decided to not major in compsci despite it being my choice for many years (like sophomore - few beginning months of senior year) because i found out how awful the job market for it is, and because i dont enjoy coding when it becomes work. I also have autism loll, which is taking much longer to get diagnosed despite my psychiatrist telling me i was already diagnosed (which like technically i was but then apparently another doctor took that diagnosis away) so now im trying to get diagnosed with it again since its pretty obvious i have it, but for some reason after my last assessment they said i dont have enough “family history” to be diagnosed. Its soooo confusing but my psychiatrist and therapist just tells me that i have autism and not to think or worry about having an official diagnosis too much

Honestly i think self diagnosis is super nuanced and difficult conversation. On one hand, getting diagnosed with asd is hard and is not covered by insurance. Its definitely a thing many people dont have the luxury to get assessed for. But i also think that because of the internet a lot of misinformation about autism has been spread. While online tests are a very useful resource i also dont put much weight on their accuracy do to just how many factors can play into asd and how many things can look like asd while not exactly being asd. So i definitely think its a difficult situation. Overall i think if someone doesnt has access, has done the right research, the self diagnosis is mostly valid. Although i definitely think a lot of people self diagnose too quickly which ive seen and it easily leads to the spreading of misinformation. I also think that while overall self DX’ing is generally valid, its really only something that should be done internally unless you are trying to get accommodated for something. Another good thing my psychiatrist said is that even if someone doesnt have asd, many accommodations or tools for autistic people can still help, and theres no problem or shame in getting that tool or help even if you dont have autism. Anyways sorrh for this super long yap, this is just my two scents and im definitely not the judge on autism so take everything i say with a bunch of salt lol
