Caught up with The Apothecary Prince at 40 chapters. A spinoff from one of my favorite comedy Manhwa, The Greatest Real Estate Developer. And well… it’s kind of more of the same formula but worse haha, down to the scumbag MC Isekai’d to a novel he read. Too bad he’s nowhere as hilarious as Lloyd was. I also misunderstood and thought the man’s a doctor, and was confused when he started using sus herbal crap… then realized that’s why the title said apothecary lol. That said, it took awhile, but one of the gags made me laugh out loud. The original is still the best but the spinoff is on its way to be good I’d say.

Rewatching Kengan Ashura feels nostalgic. Its so good.

The Legend of the Northern Blade beat at 202 chapters. Fantastic Manhwa adaptation of an Eastern Martial Arts novel, I goddamn loved every chapter.

For generations the Northern Heavenly Sect has protected the martial arts world from the Silent Night, a ravaging faction originating from the north. Yet it was betrayed from within and the faction crumbled. Now only the son of the 4th leader, Jin Mu-Won, remains. Follow his journey as he utilizes the secret martial arts passed down to him to survive this harsh world, but will he stand up for what’s right or succumb to his rage and become a monster?

A simple yet rock solid premise, with great characters, but what makes this Manhwa excel is the excellent action and combat scenes making it one of my all time favorites. The work also doesn’t focus too overly deep on how the Murim world works with all the pills and elixirs and states of mind, just guys good at what they do duking it out. I love the Big Bad here ||The Invincible Warrior|| is a great final boss. Just a shame the last few chapters seem rushed, but otherwise amazing throughout. Highly recommended to everyone especially battle media lovers.
