I will say though, comparing it to the way Red Sprite's axing was handled, I'd say actually just pacing the story like everything's normal and then the reader only realizing it's the final chapter already is better than dumping the entire story and kind of snarkily telling the readers they think your story is bad

Tokio inherited Zora's Choujin-killing Adamantine Harpe, judging by everyone's reaction to it, it's a unique instance so it's highly likely he's the closest to being Zora's inheritor ever since. Palma is a descendant of Bill Morth, both of whoms powers are about giving blood to give life. And now the reveal of Azuma being an artificial offspring of Queem, and his powers make the most sense, they are both creation-type Choujin and Azuma himself specifically specialized into weaponry creation, similar to Queem's tactics.||

I was rereading(earlier today for fun) and Batista||, The Noh Mask, included Azuma as one of the potential Beast/Choujin X candidates despite not having awakened as a Beast like Tokio and Palma, which would lead me to think he knows the real truth about Azuma. I would like to think he just thinks that since Choujins can still take Xember to awaken as a Beast, Azuma being already powerful enough would be a great addition to the line-up, but it doesn't make as much sense if you consider that Ely's ability is more or less far more broken than Azuma's is||

Caught up with Nise Seiken Monogatari at 32 chapters. Stop me if you’ve heard this before: two childhood friends live in a village, then a messenger from the kingdom proclaims that the girl is the prophesied Saint. The boy follows along to the capital, and stumbles upon the Holy Sword, which is now a corrupted Cursed Sword, and becomes the Hero. Together with the guidance of the sentient sword, they fight evil.
Did I mention that out of the Saint, Hero, and Sword, 2 out of 3 of those are the lowest of self centered scumbags you’ve seen? Hint: the sword ain’t one of them.
It’s a freaking hilarious story as two human trashes keep trying to sabotage the other’s efforts and try to have an easy moocher life while the sword tries to get them to do the right thing.

I love the attention to detail and research the author poured into this work like actual medieval martial arts and the brilliant tactics used and why they worked. The author also doesn’t pull any punches in showing the depths of depravity and brutality humanity does, like the effects of long term siege warfare and the crap an insane cult does… but that’s not what made me pause. Nah it’s some of the straight up bad taste portions of the story lol.
So yeah you’ve been warned. I’m following it to the end but I ain’t recommending it to anyone LMAO!
