there are characters that carry over but their development still feels sporadic and disjointed

and i can accept (though i dont love) that theres no explanation for most of this shit. its fine. if the drama was the point, cool. whatever

but im still left with these stories that weirdly try to put the blame on the children most of the time and have very little criticism for the multiple adults that constantly failed them

i can fully admit that if the chizu arc wasnt here i would probably be giving this a 4 or a 5 at worst

but that chizu arc feels like the twisted mentality that the author has regarding all of the arcs turned up to a ridiculous extreme

and given his conclusion with the parents post that arc (and the teacher getting away with it) it leaves the rest of the arcs feeling nasty in hindsight

"yeah bad things were done to you but two wrongs dont make a right" fuck that she shouldve flicked that teacher's head clean off his shoulders with that mech

i think the first arc was good and the arc with the amusement park was good. i thought the recital was probably the highest point of the series

everything else was either frustrating, dumb, or both

I read some manga where this villain character is crazy(he doesn't think he's evil) tortures pretty much the entire cast for multiple days(it's a situation where they can't actually die) and so the MC for the entire story was on manhunt and was pretty much already so close to killing the villain then some other dude went "no, you're just like him then" and that sickened me to my stomach cuz no the fuck not the MC wanna kill this one dude cuz he cray cray and a menace to the world, this is literlaly a net positive action when killing him
