Suicide Squad Isekai beat. A stupid idea executed in a stupid awesome way lol. Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Clayface, Special Guest Star John Cena, and King Shark make up the squad this time, and the job is to get dumped into a completely different world of fantasy and secure resources from the natives. Fun times ensues! The main cast is great, and loads of awesome moments abound. Of course Black Comedy as well, though I’d say despite the violence, it’s not at TSS level. Banger OP and ED btw. Amanda Waller can GROOVE!

Scooby Apocalypse beat. Fantastic comic series at 36 issues! It tells the tale of an intrepid action reporter and eye candy cameraman who received a tip from a scientist that there is a big conspiracy brewing, only for the three to become trapped in the underground facility along with a modified and enhanced dog and its trainer. After going outside, they see the world has become ravaged by monsters that now stalk the land, and the five have to work together to survive.

Of course, the scientist is Velma, the dog trainer is Zen Hipster Shaggy, the action reporter is Daphne, and the eye candy is Fred. The dog of course is the one and only Scooby Doo haha. I LOVED this series, the Scooby gang gets dropped into the Zombie apocalypse yes please! Awesome asskicking moments abound, great character moments and they did the unthinkable: they made me love Scrappy Doo. In fact, he’s my favorite character of the bunch lol. Now that’s a miracle.

If you’re wondering why I’m posting images of Atom Ant turning down the Justice League, it’s because the later issues are really spoilerrific and this image is just too hilarious not to post. Batman is just so happy the ant isn’t joining lol. Basically there’s two backup stories, first a Secret Squirrel one (which I didn’t like, 000 was too unlikeable as an MC), and second an Atom Ant one.

In any case I highly recommend everyone check it out. It keeps the Scooby spirit alive, and is just a great zombie apocalypse story.
