Just caught up with Choujin X, spoilers ahead! First off, overall last two chapters were good (I read them back-to-back). Personally the art and dialogue didn't hit as hard as previous chapters did (the fight that had just concluded was too damn good man, and no not the one you're thinking of), but thematically? Oh. My. Goodness. Crazy implications and connections to be made here; we truly are thickening this plot and I can't wait to see where it goes.

Now for spoilers:
||Tokio's ideal situation seems to be unfolding quite well. It seems that his plan of opening a dialogue between Zora's faction and Yamato Mori may be the true path to take in a circumstance like this. Unless, of course, antagonistic factors such as a certain man named Batista with Ricardo and Ririka in tow, Yamato Mori misunderstanding a prophecy by the nightmare choujin leader (I cannot recall her name for the life of me at the moment), and/or Ely, Azuma, and Tokio each have a falling out on how to best deal with the very possible genocide of Zora's children.
Speaking of the big three, Ely continues to be the best of the bunch (besides Tokio's awesome fight moments and Azuma's cool choujin versatility) and unironically being probably the best character in the series (besides Batista, Ricardo, Shiozaki, Micheal and Chandra, but she definitely ranks incredibly high): Unintentionally following her mother's footsteps as a bona-fide thief of powers is a sweet thing of irony and also very foreboding for the future of her as a character. It's really cool to see how the whole complex idea behind choujin has been expanded with her powers too. She got some kickass moments and panels of course: animating the pillar with cabirol's power and being on top of her game with smoke traversal.
A little thing of note, but Simon's big sword was quite impressive too, bro finally cooked again 😄.||

Watched a video on a kickass 40k Chapter of Space Marines called the Lamenters. These guys are actually so freaking sick and a gem of the Imperium for sure; the Emperor would be very pleased.

They have a long history of taking bouts wayyyy above their pay grade, and do anything to make sure they get out at the end of the day. But not just them of course: they're fierce guardians of humanity's people across the stars, as any loyal chapter would be. They do not falter until their last man standing has finally perished in glorious battle against the Xeno and/or heretic threat.

As well, their Primarch (who basically a demigod in their ranks) has a very seinen protagonist lore about him, which was kind of funny to be honest 😄. There's also a Dreadnaught too who is just super fucking edgy and hates the inquisition (essentially the Imperium of Man's FBI), but at the end of the day he's a big grump who loves his Lamenter brothers.
