You have to realize this, Acolyte wasn’t connected to anything- no immediate cameos like the Mandoverse projects. Andor’s only getting a second season BECAUSE of Tony Gilroy successfully ordering 2 seasons upfront.

And plus Andor had Rogue One to back- an era between ROTS and ANH. The High Republic is a niche era of Star Wars, and the Acolyte was a chance to bridge the general audience (kinda like me) to that niche era.

I remember watching the Gomora episode and Ultraman stepped up to fight this monster that just walked past the army blasting it with everything… and promptly got his ass kicked so hard and completely lost lol. Only reason he lived is because Gomora got bored and went off elsewhere. Watching it now, seeing Ultraman got a face full of Gomora’s wicked fast huge ass tail everytime he tried to use his Spacium Ray is bloody hilarious. Ahh the Dada, another fan and personal favorite of mine.
