One Piece Fishman Island arc watched. I was never the biggest fan of it, but honestly the anime’s slow pacing helps the good moments it had shine better by letting it breathe and giving them the gravitas they deserve. Fisher Tiger and Otohime flashback, Zeo, Vander Decken IX, blood transfusion, journey to and out of the island, HOARDY’s backstory, all fantastic.

Megalo and Shirahoshi knowing Hody Jones did it was a dumb plot point and I’d like to forget it ever happened. Luke from Tales of the Abyss all over again except stupider because it means she doesn’t trust her brother and father. Also the pacing is always slow but god once the fighting actually starts it really slowed to a crawl lol.

Speaking of the main villain, he still lacks the charisma needed to carry the arc honestly, though the anime did a better of telling his slow turn into the empty bigot that he is. I think letting Zoro take him out was a mistake really. Oh and the energy steroids multiplication thing makes no damn sense so I just ignore it. Also the dub likes to call him HOARDY Jones which is weird but whatever.

At least We Go is an amazing OP and I love it so much. Next season isn’t up yet though, and seems to be filler related to that Movie Z film. No Caesar Clown yet.
