Psych Season 3 beat. The start of a series tradition with the Yin-Yang arc for the season finales, but I’m getting ahead of myself. There’s also Mary (deliciously weird despite not being actually creepy) and Shawn’s Mom becoming recurring from here on out. Personal factoid: I got my hands on seasons 1-2 and 4 dvd set but not 3 so my rewatches always had a hole in them lol.

||- Honestly? Ghosts might be the weakest episode of Psych for me. It started out kind of good with the creepy house and sightings… but it all just went to crap once Gus opens the attic door. Plot and Resolution was dumb. But hey Shawn’s mom is here.

• Reunion episode was fantastic and brought Faith back to me in the series lol. Not gonna lie, first time I watched Ghosts I was afraid the series had already run its course but nope it was just a stumble. Anyway love the mystery and the story and the jokes.
• Daredevil ep had one of my absolute favorite moments in television, when Shawn confronted Dutch being his own would be murderer, and tried to appeal to him to choose life but ultimately leaving the decision to him. God that was so damn good.
• Indiana Jones ep was good times, and Shawn tricking his con artist uncle was so sweet.
• Chief’s sister was fun, and the final confrontation was hilarious. NO TABLE!
• Santa ep was heartwarming as usual for Christmas.
• Sea Lion ep was great. RIP Shabby, shame Shawn never got to ride a dolphin. PA DOES NOT LOVE FA!
• firefighter episode’s end was fantastic with Shawn and Gus saving people and Shawn finally getting a fist bump from the lady who prefers to work alone.
• Tuesday the 17th made me have hope again for the horror Osych episodes, one of my favorites with all the scares and references. Poor Lassie though, but don’t worry your true love will show up soon.
• It’s funny how a show as funny as Psych is has such a crazy Villain in Yang. I love this new tradition honestly, with matching wits against a psychotic serial killer that loves riddles.||

Psych Season 4 beat. New recurring character with the friendly coroner Woody, and a steady girlfriend in Abigail from last season for Shawn. Also the last season I watched entirely in full, starting season 5 I’ll be sporadically watching eps I’ve never seen before and even entire seasons.

Highlights:
||- Desperaux was such a fun villain, playing up the gentleman thief persona to high heaven and even outwitting Shawn at times.

• Cowboy ep was fun, especially the Sheriff that is WAY too into his character. lol Binky.
• Bollywood episode was another great one, with my second favorite theme song variation with the Hindi version of the song. Shawn randomly getting pelted with a color ball in the middle of summation and subsequently getting slapped by the culprit as well as the initial interrogation with Shawn getting more and more scared (I AM THE WEAPON!) had me laughing so hard every time.l I watch it.
• Blackapella ep had THE best theme song with Boys II Men singing it beautifully, and hell yeah getting one of my favorite actors Kenan Thompson on one of my favorite eps. Back to back bangers baby!
• I really liked the Shawn got shot ep with everyone scrambling to find him.
• John Cena ep. That is all.
• Gus accidentally knocking out the suspect by squeezing him too hard and slamming him with his helmet while they’re paragliding down was peak Bruton Gaster.
• Witness Protection ep was great too, shame it didn’t work out but it’s ok Jules your true love is right there. Also the one time Shawn used Gus’s real name it’s to a Drug Lord LMAO!
• Virus ep was great, tense as hell.
• Think Tank ep had a few choice moments (Airhorn to the face lol) but the secondhand embarrassment was too cringe for me. I never found that funny.
• Yin was an awesome season end, tons of creepy and scary moments thanks to the great imposing villain, a sad twist with Mary’s death, and lasting repercussions like Abigail calling it quits, Juliet being traumatized, and Henry accepting the job.||
