Time Patrol Bon (Bon) beat. I was excited to watch this as it’s a Fujiko F. Fujio (Doraemon among other things) work that I’ve never checked out before, and I loved it. Setting aside the insane yet hilarious rule the time patrol has about ||never killing people but erasing them from history so they never existed is fine|| in the first ep, it’s a fun series about a boy getting wrapped up in Time Patrol business, specifically going to different times in the past to save lives. Not just important people either, mostly unfortunate bystanders caught dead on the wrong side of history.
The show gets rather dark and violent, as can be seen with their rather unapologetic depictions of ||torture, witch hunt. warfare, and killing off our protagonists. Multiple times lol||. Expect some blood. One particularly hilarious example is ||during the Marathon battle where they’re trying to save as many lives as possible, and the MC caught side of a dude who was freshly decapitated and spurting a fountain of blood from his neck, and he just apologized that his instant healing device won’t work on that kind of wound and moved on to someone he can actually save haha.||
The ending was rather abrupt but it seems season 2/the second half of the series will air soon on July so can’t wait. I recommend checking it out.
Also the OP is a goddamn earworm and I love the ED.

The art's good in that it's very clear in direction. Some pretty sick crazy fuck stuff happens in it though and I totes didn't expect it to turn into the manga it is, was wholly expecting it to be a gag manga. Overall it's alright, the ending section is a bit weird though, and it does get pretty extreme with the gore and blood. Was a nice read but I won't be rereading.
