Ah Monk Season 5. Episode 2 is the first episode I watched believe or not, and I’m immediately hooked. Linda Fusco appeared for the first time.

Highlights:
||- the season opener with the actor had an Easter egg where the dude is one of the candidates to play Monk haha. Looking back Monk talking down Ruskin from shooting the culprit eerily mirrors a future event. Also lol Leland x female Randy

• ah the garbage strike episode one of my all time favorites. It has the legendary Alice Cooper did it summation played by the man himself LMAO!
• Assisant Coach Monk dividing up 100% amongst the teammates was funny, and Assist being Latin for UP YOU GO was freaking hilarious! Glad that joke came back a few times.
• Blind ep was fun. Natalie are you flying?
• Natalie coming back to keep Captain Cool company was perfect, as was Monk remembering his college days with Trudy.
• Angry Kroger starts popping up and I love it.
• Dad to was emotional as expected, but I was sad Ambrose didn’t show up. Apparently the creators said afterwards the two went to Ambrose’s house so that’s alright.
• Leper episode was just perfect Noir and hilarity. Hypocrite Natalie and the Leper confusion was great.
• Hal Tucker ep hurts to watch since we know it won’t last. But thankfully his real friends start hanging out more.
• Monk the overly perfect butler lol

Caught up with Even Given the Worthless Appraiser Class, I’m Actually The Strongest. You know this manga raised all the red flags at first lol. Dude gets a bajillion superpowers handed to him with minimal effort at first, and almost all of the fights are one sided.

… and yet as I stuck with I really liked it. It still has its flaws, but I goddamn loved the portrayal of the family dynamic of the world tree sisters and their guardians, really struck a chord with me. The author really nailed the emotional beats well. MC also grew on me, he reminds me of Superman, my favorite superhero.

Would I recommend it though? Ehh probably not. I for one will keep reading it though.

Arion beat. An epic set in mythological Greece, about Arion the son of Poseidon and Demeter (and not a horse here) on his quest. This is right up my alley, and yet… I wasn’t digging it much. The old school art wasn’t a problem most of the time but for most of the action scenes I’m confused as to what’s actually happening haha. I definitely prefer Pygmalio to this as far as epic adventures starring a kid in mythological times.

Still, it was pretty ok and it’s a short read at 28 chapters. Not a bad time waster.

Really really good romcom read though I'd rather if it didn't have so many raunchy shots in it. Hits all the same beats that I love so much about Flunk Punk Rumble(Yankee-kun To Megane-chan) but it is very funny that the last section is almost beat for beat what happens in it lol.
