mmh there are some things here i don’t really agree with. i don’t think he has an innate capability to hold multiple quirks without side effects, i think he just hasn’t had OFA long enough for it to cause permanent injury, but would still eventually suffer if he kept it for longer. i think it’s more likely for deku to end up quirkless again, and that being the reason why he doesn’t die young or suffer extreme injury, than being AFO’s child or something along those lines (and i trust inko to have better taste than that 😫)

Great plot pusher as well as a calm before the storm type situation with such an episode title as “The Harbinger”. Arguably the most tense I’ve ever been in the Bad Batch- probably because it’s a ||literal home invasion and detonation (in the case of the Marauder, the original “home” of the Bad Batch).|| CX-2 is a true menace, with honestly some colonialist elements to his dialogue. The return of Crosshair’s theme in full fledge only to ||miss the shot|| was such a good show don’t tell of ||how much he’s acclimated to Pabu.|| Omega’s truly learning it all from the Bad Batch, especially the self sacrifice ||Plan 99 type beat that Tech did|| and what it means. Omega has truly matured this episode by not hiding but facing the challenge full on and accepting what may come- we love to see it. However, yet another step into ||the failings and follies of Crosshair which will mean he’ll have to deal with the personal ramifications of things he’s involved with all over again||- Bad Batch’s Sisyphus. The copium and hopium ||about CX-2 being Imperial Tech|| does not stop however ||especially with the rock face vantage point and Phee’s appearance||. Bravo Brad Rau and Jennifer Corbett. Bravo on making me feel ill all throughout this episode.

The parallels to Bad Batch Season 2 and The Mandalorian Season 2 with a ||“father” figure of sorts lookin up at their child getting abducted.|| George Lucas said it rhymed like poetry but not like this man… come on bru. Also Omega’s logical sass from “The Harbinger” carried over to how ||she turned Crosshair’s own words from their time at Mount Tantiss about focusing on the bigger picture against him- now with Crosshair feeling so conflicted against that because he cares so much about her but hides it under his facade (Crosshair’s got his emotional scope locked in to Omega in a way).
