the problem with anime tho is that they want characters to all look unique, like with the amount of strength that every character has in battle shonen is always way beyond their actual physique, but it wouldnt be sucha great manga if just every character was extremly buff even tho they have to be that big to pull of the certain things they do

it just comes down to a stylistic choice

i wouldnt want to read mha if every single character look like Cbum

only show that can pull that off is dbz but its not like u want every manag to look like dbz

luffy should be way more jacked than he is, but the way hes draw fits him, so araki draws him that way, despite the fact that he should be way bigger than he is doing the stuff that he does

In the OP universe characters don't appear the strength they are simply because character A might be able to lift a ship by simply weight lifting which makes no sense, characters in shonen can appear to match their physic and in Mha and black clover they do, the complain comes from the fact even among the series where men are represented correctly the women far too often are given the idea of being strong while not looking strong at all

I don't think originality has anything to do with it especially when it's so common to see every female with the same bodytype that if anything muscular women should be in favor of it

Exhuma watched. I loved it! It’s a South Korean supernatural horror movie about a shaman, her assistant, a funeral director, and a Geomancer who team up to solve the mystery of why a family is being cursed with incessant screaming noises. The movie does a really good job at building up the tension and mystery and maintaining a super creepy atmosphere and the sense that something is dreadfully wrong. The Shaman and the Geomancer were the standouts to me, love them the most. I had a working theory throughout the movie that turned out to only be half right haha.

I do felt the movie was a teeny tiny bit racist towards ||the Japanese. Probably could touch up the wordings to mean only the warmongers but I could be reading too deeply and they did just mean the war time Japanese ghosts and not the people as a whole.||

Anyway, if you love horror I’d say check it out.

The Suicide Squad and Black Adam beat. So. Everywhere I go people hyped up TSS, and how did my verdict go? Absolutely goddamn loved it. Number 1 DCEU movie for DAMN sure haha. I laughed basically throughout this whole movie. Kicking up the age rating was the right call, the movie takes advantage of it very well with increased violence that is right at home with a group of supervillains forced to do someone’s bidding. The cat was phenomenal, I’m just said u can’t watch the Peacemaker series. Soundtrack was great too, and the visuals are better now that it’s not all dark every single time. Shout out to ||Starro in all his glory haha. Also, that opening beach scene was amazing, the moment I saw Weasel I knew these losers were mostly gonna die, but wasn’t expecting Boomers and Flagg to kick it in the movie. Poor June. Wait are they still together?||. Fantastic movie and one I’d recommend to even a non superhero fan. As long as they can stomach some blood and deaths.

Finally, Black Adam. I loved it before and I love it still now. The Rock? Good. Justice Society? Good but surprised they gave focus to them in a BA movie haha. SABBAC was cool but until then Intergang was just ok as far as bad guys go. All of the fight scenes were fantastic. Especially first time Adam fought and the final fight vs SABBAC. So yeah has its problems but a good time all around. I’m just sad I never got to see what happened next ||with Superman and Black Adam and Shazam meeting.||

TSS > WW > BoP > JL > Shazam > BA > SS > Aquaman > BvS > MoS > WW84 > Shazam 2

So with that my DCEU watch through is at an end. Honestly, good call me watching Shazam duo first haha. Ending with Fury of the Gods would have completely soured my experience with that finale lol. In any case I’ll be sure to catch The Flash, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman 2 whenever it rotates back in to Netflix. That said there’s still The Batman for me to watch so not quite done with DC. Missed that one when it was in theaters.
