Star Wars: The Bad Batch Final Season/ Season 3: Episode 5, “The Return” Spoiler Thoughts and Analysis.

The perfect use of show don’t tell alongside the motifs of light/warmth vs darkness/shadows. Also, the use of established symbolism with motifs and musical leitmotifs was on point this episode. An excellent episode to cement ||Echo’s and Omega’s role in the Bad Batch family as the emotional glue both as the middle awkward child and the older sister respectively || as well as to close off bit by bit on the ||tension between Hunter and Crosshair-function to dysfunctional to functional again (except without Tech)||.

A perfect episode right after ||the reunion to close off emotional wounds and restore the Bad Batch to almost former glory||.

With all this happiness with this episode… what sort of emotional tugging will Brad Rau and Jennifer Corbett bring to me I hope it’s not that bad.
