Ice Hunters Arc Beat. Clocking at ten eps, it’s the second longest filler before G-8’s eleven. How does it fair? Hmm… I liked the concept and the final fight wa neat, but I think the biggest problem is the pacing of the arc. Some of the fights went a bit long and some animations kept getting repeated (like those dumbass couple poses). Also they had a Lovely Land set but none of the big fights happened inside of it lol. What a waste. I did like the Accino family beating the strawhats by outsmarting them, and they had a few combat on the deck of the ships. I also loved the strawhats motivation to steal back their Jolly Roger without Luffy knowing because they can’t stand the thought of Luffy mocking them LMAO! That’s so them. These Phoenix losers are totally dead the moment they reenter the New World though lol. Better get some Devil Fruits or Haki or something. All in all, a story about oh t the strawhats facing off against a bounty hunter and reviving a defeated pirates pride is fine.

Worth nothing that the big bad’s devil fruit is a copy of Charlotte Oven’s fruit, though Don’s Atsu Atsu no Mi gives him immunity to all heat, like Lava and 10k degrees. Funny to imagine him no selling Ace and Akainu without them using Haki haha. Now funnily enough there’s ANOTHER possible devil fruit copy, the Phoenix Pirates were decimated by someone on a giant battleship who uses meteors to attack. Would be funny if they retroactively made it to be Fujitora haha.
