that being said, that was another reason why I disliked Part 3 anime

Ngl this part I finished the fastest because of how fun the stands concept was since before it was hamon, and although people say some characters like avdol and kakyoin sucked and they got little to no development, I still liked the episodes where the main focus was kakyoin and his stand

but I do agree that they should of gotten more development especially avdol since he had so much more potential

Jotaro's personality in Part 3 was basically "that buffed guy who deals strong punches and looks badass"

in the manga he was like that as well, just better and more complex

and more fleshed out as a character

with more believable reactions to stuff happening around

subtle depiction of emotions can do colossal difference

The anime simply skimmed all the small facial expressions the manga had, his small smiles, his shocked and fearful reactions to enemy stand users. Like yes he looks badass, but idk why the anime skimmed over that and made him to be completely edgy. Don't get me wrong it's great I just miss the small smirks he'd make in the manga and wished it was translated in anime better. I mean yeah we get some glimpses of it, like the disgusted cherry scene, but it's the little things that matter in this case.
