i think part 3 was very good. ig had a decent story structure (ie. they had a clear goal; defeat dio and save jots mom) the characters were fleshed out, and nothing seemed like it didnt happen for no reason (except for the jot asspull) but obviously, araki was still in his early days so he did mess up a little, but it was pretty good. and obviously its the most popular parts bc of the stands and edgy jot

I think Jotaro just is cool, and it's easy to like a guy like that. He has a lot of cool moments, which makes you root for him every time. The journey with friends is an aspect I really enjoy about part 3. It's simple, but that's what it's meant to be. It's fun because of the funny interactions. Imo there were a lot of funny moments in the part. I think if you get too focused on the destination, you're going to lose the point which is the journey itself. And when it comes to a close, that ending hits different, but the reason is because we enjoyed their company for so long. And in the anime, that ending song just makes it sink in even more.
