The only thing the OVA truly has over the anime is its animation, which of course it would... It had more time and simplified a lot of the designs. Part 3 anime couldn't do that.
The OVA tried too hard to make a lot of stuff grim dark and it just made a worse story... Because Stardust Crusaders does not work the way the OVA portrayed it

I guess for our heroes it's difficult since they mostly have the tactical disadvantage and don't even know who the user is most of the time. But what about the villains? Enter their bodies and destroy them from the inside.

Like imagine the enemy stand user shrinking their stand, invading the body of one of the jobros and tear them apart from the inside.
