Lord of the Rings has one large plothole with the Griffins flying to Mount Doom, which is just not true, because of the many defense systems around Mount Doom never letting these Griffins through alive. I find that many people are streching themselves to find , when there are very obvious issues with every part. Some small, like earth wind and fire in part six needing to be changed to planatary waves, and some that are incredibly large, such as the coffin in part 3. Yes, you linked Hamon Beats video on that, but frankly, he does a very very poor job in explaining it. It's generic, but I think it's a nice goalpost for the evolution of stand battles, even within it's own context. The beginning of part 3 goes from "fire stand shoot fire ball to hurt man with fire burn" which sounds about as simple as it sounds. By the end of the part though, it's turned into "I can create a compas-like detector of lifeforms with my flames". Which is a lot more indicitive of stands
Also thinking about it further, it's kind of incredible how that "fire life detector" ability:
- Was Invented and explained
- Had it's strengths shown, which resulted in an enemy stand user dying
- And had it's weaknesses shown, which resulted in the stand user dying
all within a 5 minute scene? That's kind of an incredbile synopsis of stand battles
