The worst part about Stardust Crusaders and the whole Tarot Cards and Egyptian god name schemes was almost no Stand user was given any kind of meaning of nuance to them. Their Card or God only reflected their stands and nothing more. It leads to every battle feeling like a battle between a Chess piece and a small pebble, there's almost no feeling of tension when another tarot card guy comes and acts like their stand is the hottest thing since sliced Avdol arms only to be defeated by another Ora sequence.

Part 3 did have the issue of kind of one note stands that dont leave much impact

I think the problem was addressed more in the second half, when users' stands started having a lot of parallels to their personality
