in a personal au i came up with involving a character who's based on my 7su protag, she narrowly manages to save kak with a barrier that soaks up juuuust enough damage from that falcon punch dio gives him and getting knocked into the water tower that he gets away with maybe a bruised spine and a few fractured vertebrae but definitely some cracked or broken ribs
either way, he ultimately just passes out after blowing up the clock
he does think he's dying as he does it, though
he wakes up after, getting patched up
probably high af on painkillers, but point is, he's alive. injured, but alive
she gets the barrier up before they're both swallowed up by the time stop
and dio's too cocky to notice
which brings to mind a funny thought about kak in the hospital: he's high af on painkillers trying to rero cherries but he keeps dropping them

jotaro and hope: everything was down to jotaro. he did most of the heavy lifting in part 3. a lot of the fights were won by him. the crusaders likely were hoping jotaro would be their ace in the hole
dio and completion: he was their end goal. if holly didn't get attacked by her stand, i'm pretty sure they would have still gone after dio, but holly's stand attacking her put them on a tight schedule. after slogging through stand user after stand user, they finally got to the giant, body-snatching asshole ruining everything

one thing that's been bugging me, when polnareff fought avdol, he was able to create illusions of chariot, and he lost as avdol outsmarted him, but he never used that ability ever again throughout the whole Stardust Crusaders
Also, hol horse said that the bullets he had fired are also his stand, he also never controlled them when he tag teamed with mondatta or boingo when killing jotaro with the pipe

Dunno about the after image by Chariot one on why it was never used again but my guess is that there wasn't too much chances to use it, since it's really only good to use when fighting a ranged attacker in an open space. but that's on ym logic
and Hol Horse did control it, or in another way, the bullets moved in autopilot, they never hit the pipe in any way as they traveled to Jotaro
and another thing to note with the Chariot speed, he can only do that with his Armor Off, which is pretty risky as the stand is not protected by the armor so if the opponent is smart enough, it would be dangerous to use it
