Oh wow. The lip syncing in the English dub of the anime is amazing whereas in the Japanese dub it looked pretty half assed imo.
Fun fact about dubbing and lip syncing.
What dubbing companies and dub parodies do is take frames where characters where the character's mouths are closed, half open and fully open and then rearrange the frames in a sequence where the lip syncing matches what they are saying.
The English dub looks really fluid with the lip syncing whereas the original Japanese version looks really choppy and half assed imo
(It doesn't help that Japanese animation studios just use three frames of animation for characters speaking compared to American animation studios where they actually mimic the lip movement that people make in real life)
