His eye rock was broken off by Obladi Oblada and now all that remains is sone debris over and below his eye. The 2 rocks on his cheek moved to somehwere else in his body. It seems that the rocks are very similarly always moving like Holy's dissease, where rocks are constantly moving on her body and traveling to her head, inducing a coma.

If Josuke returns, i can easily see this being a problem for him, like, "oh these stones are constantly moving and threatening my brain" or something

also, it is already very obvious that part 9 will bring back rock humans, in chapter 99 it is finally confirmed how the rock humans are connected to the holy lands. They worship the blessed lands, make them their home, and get their powers from those places, so i doubt a part that is initially named JOJOLANDS wont include the very interesting species that worhsips those lands

because of their nature, rock humans don't know true love, and all of their relationships exist for personal benefit, but we can obviously see that there are exceptions, Aisho really did love his girlfriend and seemed worried when he couldn't reach Yotsuyu, Dolomite also loved his girlfriend, and all of the doctors wanted their entire species to be on top, especially tooru and urban guerilla, not just themselves
