Bruno wasn't just revived with no explanation, he was a walking corpse that pushed himself some but then rots. He wasn't like healthy and perfectly himself or something.
Fugo also... again, had an actual send off and wasn't like Mr. Flashback, another dropped concept, or like Kei and Kaato where Fugo vanishes for over half the part but then comes back, dies, and expects us to care massively as if he was always a main character that was here since the beginning.

Ceaser was used to furthur Jojo's development, his purpose to the story was benefitial and he showed the audience how the Pillarmen can be taken down and gave the audience assurance. Lisa lisa on the other hand held no use to the story other than fan service ans she's only used for that once

- Giorno as you may all know is not really the protagonist as much as Bruno is. Giorno doesn’t emote much or has much of a personality appart from his ideals.
- Golden experience and you guys may also know, has a thing about having abilities and then loosing them when it’s convenient for the plot. Such as: creating life with his legs, Mista grabs a chunk of grass and doesn’t get hurt by the defense mechanism, life shot doesn’t seem to come much into play, etc..
- The whole Doppio and Rissoto fight is pretty cool ngl but it has many many flaws. Rissoto somehow uses a amount of iron a human body couldn’t possibly have, even if we just let believe because it’s a manga and magic abilities, how did he not win via instantly putting a sccisor in Doppios brain/heart. And not to speak off that after the fight Doppio somehow managed to escape with a gigant hole in his neck flowing out blood.
- The final fight wasn’t much of a final fight but more of a “Hah I won Diavolo you can’t fight back”
5.fugo was utterly wasted (ik Araki had depression at the time and didn’t wanna follow the plot he made but still) - Polnareff somehow survived being attack in the flashback by diavolo and being thrown off a cliff.
And a few nitpicks I have also I won’t mention

Giorno is absolutely the protagonist. It's because of him taking initiative that this part starts and why a lot of the gang survive. Bruno himself stands aside and has to listen to some of our main character's advice so they don't go in blind (the fight on the train). He does have a personality beyond his goal but it's just not everyone's cup of tea.
GER wasn't the final fight. The final fight was for the arrow, the gang vs Diavolo. That much was made obvious when the win condition to beat the boss was described to be the arrow post-Abbacchio's death.
Gold Experience having an inconsistent early ability pool is par for the course, that's not an exclusive thing to pick apart Part 5 for as say Part 8... We see Paisley Park do some stuff that's never replicated and Soft and Wet has a truckload of abilities. Some aren't used. It's a valid criticism but something that's not Part 5's issue alone.
